Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is plain.
Obverse
In the centre of a circle against a stylized wing of a butterfly - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, below - the year of coinage and circle inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); on the left - alloy standard, on the right - the trademark of the Mint of Poland PLC, below - denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
Reverse
In the center against a relief image of the plants - a purple emperor reproduced with the help of pad-printing technique; below on the right-hand side - the inscription: APATURA IRIS.
