Discription
The coin has the shape of an oval with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and the inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the centre - a relief portrait of Alexander Pushkin with a stylized image of a lyre to the left and a stylized image of a quill and a scroll to the right of it; below - the year of coinage, alloy standard and denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
Reverse
At the top - circle inscription: СКАЗКА О ЗОЛОТОМ ПЕТУШКЕ (THE TALE OF THE GOLDEN COCKEREL); in the center - an image with pad-printed elements depicting a scene from the fairy tale.
