Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

Obverse

In the centre of a circle framed by a geometric ornament - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; the year of coinage and alloy standard (for gold and silver coins) are indicated under; circle inscription at the top - "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom - "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin, "ПЯЦЬДЗЕСЯТ РУБЛЁЎ" (FIFTY ROUBLES) on the gold one and "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one.

Reverse

A relief image of the zubr's head against the background of the stylised forest; circle inscription: in the left-hand side at the top - "БЕЛАВЕЖСКАЯ ПУШЧА" (BELOVEZHSKAYA PUSHCHA), at the bottom - "ЗУБР" (ZUBR).
