Discription

The coin is round. On the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The coin’s edge is reeded.

 

Obverse

At the top — a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center of the coin within the circle – the image of a fragment of the non-reversible molded belt produced by the manufactory of Slutsk (1780–1807) and exhibited in the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus (on a silver coin the belt’s fragment is reproduced with the help of pad-printing technique); at the top along the rim an inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); on the left – the year of issue, on the right – alloy standard (on a silver coin) and artistic element (on a copper-nickel one), on the bottom – denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES) on a silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) on a copper-nickel one.

 

Reverse

On the left - a circle inscription: СЛУЦКІЯ ПАЯСЫ. РАДЗІВІЛЫ (THE BELTS OF SLUTSK. THE RADZIWILLS); on the right – the image of the figure of Prince Michal Kazimierz Radziwill; on the left – the ornamental design based on the Radziwill family emblem, the image of Slutsk Brama (city gates) in the town of Niasvizh (as the element of the architectural complex of the Radziwill residence) and the draped belt of Slutsk.
