Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
In the centre of a circle framed by a geometric ornament - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; circle inscription: at the top - "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom - the year of coinage, alloy standard and denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
Reverse
In the center - a relief image of the three flowers of the marsh-marigold, on of them is pad-printed; circle inscription at the top in two lines: "ЛОТАЦЬ БАЛОТНАЯ" – CALTHA PALUSTRIS (MARSH-MARIGOLD - CALTHA PALUSTRIS).
