Discription

The coin is rectangular in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coin is plain.

Obverse

On the left-hand side at the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the centre - an image of Rene Francois Auguste Rodin, a french sculptor and graphic artist; the inscriptions: on the left - "РЭСПУБЛIКА" (THE REPUBLIC) at the top - "БЕЛАРУСЬ" (BELARUS); at the bottom - denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) and the year of coinage to the right of it. 

Reverse

In the center - a relief image of "The Thinker" sculpture; inscription on the left-hand side at the top- МЫСЛIЦЕЛЬ (THE THINKER), on the right-hand side at the bottom - alloy standard.
