Commemorative coin "Brest fortress"

Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

Obverse

At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center - a relief image of the order of the Patriotic war (enamel of red and white colour on the silver coin); below - the year of coinage, alloy standard (on the silver coin); circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom - denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one. 

Reverse

At the top against the background of the main entrance to the Memorial complex "Brest Hero-fortress" - inscription: "БРЭСЦКАЯ КРЭПАСЦЬ–ГЕРОЙ" (BREST HERO FORTRESS); at the bottom - a relief image of the main "COURAGE" monument.
