Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Obverse
In the center - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; below - the inscription in two lines: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), the year of coinage; for precious metals coins - weight of the coin and alloy standard.
Reverse
In the center – against the background of a geographic map of the Republic of Belarus - a relief image of hovering stork, in left–hand side at the bottom – the UN emblem and "50", circle inscriptions separated by geometric ornament: "НАЦЫI, АБ'ЯДНАНЫЯ ЗА MIP" (NATIONS UNITED FOR PEACE), "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE).
