Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
In the centre of a circle framed by a geometric ornament - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; circle inscription at the top - "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom - the year of coinage, alloy standard and denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin, "ПЯЦЬДЗЕСЯТ РУБЛЁЎ" (FIFTY ROUBLES) on the gold one.
Reverse
In the center - a relief image of the hare, in the eye - insert from a diamond on the gold coin, from phianite - on the silver one; circle inscription: at the bottom - ЗАЯЦ (HARE), at the top - LEPUS EUROPAEUS.
