Discription

The coin is round. On the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.

 

Obverse

At the top – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; a circular inscriptions: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), in the middle on the background of a stylized image of a spinning wheel - the images of bees and honeycombs; below – the denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 ROUBLES) on the silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel coin. beneath – to the left of the denomination: the year of issue (to the right - the alloy standard shown on the silver coin).

 

Reverse

In the center – a stylized image of a bee, mythological images and symbols of belarussian legends. On the right there is a circular inscription: ЛЕГЕНДА ПРА ПЧАЛУ (LEGEND OF THE BEE).
