Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Obverse
Within a circle geometric ornament - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; below - the year of coinage, alloy standard; circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom - "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES).
Reverse
In the center - a relief image of a discus–thrower; in the right–hand side – the inscription in two lines: "СІДНЭЙ 2000" (SYDNEY 2000) and "АЛІМПІЙСКІЯ ГУЛЬНІ" (OLYMPIC GAMES).
