Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.

Obverse

On the left-hand side - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; below - the inscriptions: denomination - "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one, the year of coinage and alloy standard (on the silver coin); in the right-hand side at the top – a stylized inscription in two lines: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom – a composition of children’s drawings.

Reverse

In the center - an image of a boy and a girl with wooden birds in the hands; at the top- circle inscription: "СВЕТ ВАЧЫМА ДЗЯЦЕЙ" (THE WORLD THROUGH CHILDREN’S EYES); at the bottom in a circle - a stylized ornamental strip.

 

The design of the coin uses compositions from drawings of children under 6 years old, participants and winners of the open competition of children's drawings "Children Draw Coins", held by the National Bank in the framework of the Open Day - 2014.
