Commemorative coin "Spasy"

Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated. The surface of the coin is oxidized

Obverse

Within a circle geometric ornament – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – a solar sign consisting of octagonal geometrical figure with elements of a rhombic decor symbolizing solar rays; below – the year of coinage, on the silver coin – alloy standard;circle inscription – at the top: " РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ " (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: " ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ " (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one.

Reverse

In the center – an interior of honeycomb, an apple tree (silver coin is inlaid with a synthetic crystal of orange colour imitating a ripe apple), and a sheaf of rye, symbols of the Savior of the Honey, Apple, and Bread Feast Days; in the left–hand and in the right–hand parts – relief elements of Belarussian national ornament with the motives of the Soul; at the bottom – circle inscription: "СПАСЫ" (SPASY).
