Discription
The coin is rectangular in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and the inscription - "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), in the centre - an image of the two galloping horses symbolizing the dynamics, speed and strength; at the bottom from left to right - denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES); the year of coinage and alloy standard.
Reverse
In the center - an image of the Akhal-Teke against a greek pattern, antique columns and ornamental composition; on the left - the inscription: АХАЛТЭКІНСКІ КОНЬ (AKHAL-TEKE).
