Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Obverse
At the top in the center - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and a circle inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center of the coin against the background of the nautical chart – stylized image of the wind rose (the silver coin bears a hologram); at the bottom - the denomination: "ДЗЕСЯЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TEN ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one; on the left – the year of coinage, on the right (on the silver coin) – alloy standard and trademark of the Mint of Poland PLC.
Reverse
On the left against the background of a seascape - a relief image of one of the biggest and fastest sailing vessels in the world – The Sedov, on the right – the diminished image of the ship (outboard profile); and below – the inscription: СЕДОВ (THE SEDOV) in original lettering.
