Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

Obverse

In the circle framed by geometric ornament - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; below - the year of coinage (alloy standard on the gold and silver coins); circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom - "СТО РУБЛЁЎ" (ONE HUNDRED RUBLES) on the gold coin, "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY RUBLES) on the silver coin, and АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ (ONE RUBLE) on the copper–nickel one.

Reverse

At the top – circle inscription: "БЕЛАРУСЬ – КІТАЙ" (BELARUS–CHINA); in the center – two arches symbolizing the openness of relations and cooperation between both countries; in the left–hand arch – the landscape typical of Belarus and an inscription in Chinese: "BELARUS"; in the right–hand arch – a representation of the Great Wall of China and an inscription in Chinese: "CHINA"; at the bottom – a circle inscription engraved in two lines: "15 ГОД ДЫПЛАМАТЫЧНЫХ АДНОСІН" (15 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS).
