Commemorative coin "Candlemas. The EurAsEC Nations' Customs and Rites"

Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.

Obverse

At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus (in the middle) with an inscription: "РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) above it; in the center - a representation of the EurAsEC logo framed by an ornamental pattern symbolizing the Candlemas taper; at the bottom — denominations: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗIН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one, to the right of the logo — the year of coinage and to the left — alloy standard (on the silver coin).      

Reverse

In the center - a relief image of a bird flying over the fields covered in snow (on the silver coin the bird is gold-plated), a symbol of the meeting between winter and summer.
