Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Obverse
In the center - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus against the background of a handball; circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom - denominations: "СТО РУБЛЁУ" (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES) and "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) correspondingly, on the left of it - alloy standard, on the right - the year of coinage.
Reverse
In the center against the background of the picture of the handball - a pictogram symbolizing Tower Bridge (London, Great Britain - the site of the 2012 Olympic Games) and a pictographic image of the two players in the moment of attack and defence; below - the inscription in two lines: АЛIМПIЙСКIЯ ГУЛЬНI 2012 (2012 OLYMPIC GAMES); circle inscription at the bottom: "ГАНДБОЛ" (HANDBALL).
