Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin has an inscription: "АЛІМПІЙСКІ РУХ РЭСПУБЛІКІ БЕЛАРУСЬ" (OLYMPIC MOVEMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and an element of a national ornamental pattern.

Obverse

At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center within an external circle - an image of the central office of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus (NOC) and its logo (the silver coin is gold-plated); circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom - "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one. 

Reverse

At the bottom - a stylized image of a sportsman bearing a torch against a background of the stylized Olympic rings decorated by the elements of a geometric ornament (the silver coin is gold-plated); on the left - the year of coinage; on the right - alloy standard (on the silver coin).
