Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; circle inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center against the background of an ice rink - an image of the Chyzhouka-Arena sports complex; below - the inscription: ЧЭМПІЯНАТ СВЕТУ ПА ХАКЕІ 2014 • ЧЫЖОЎКА-АРЭНА (2014 WORLD ICE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP. CHYZHOUKA-ARENA); at the bottom in the center - denominations: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin, "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one; to the left of the denomination - the year of coinage; to the right - alloy standard (on the silver coins).
Reverse
In the center - a composition involving two ice hockey players against the background of ice; at the top - a logo of the International Ice Hockey Federation for the 2014 World Ice Hockey Championship in Belarus.
