Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is grained.
Obverse
At the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center against the background of an ice rink - an image of the Minsk-Arena sports complex; below - the inscription: ЧЭМПІЯНАТ СВЕТУ ПА ХАКЕІ 2014 • МIНСК-АРЭНА (2014 WORLD ICE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP. MINSK-ARENA); at the bottom - the year of coinage; alloy standard (on the silver coins); circle inscription at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom - denominations: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin, "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one.
Reverse
In the center - a composition involving two ice hockey players against the background of ice; at the top - a logo of the International Ice Hockey Federation for the 2014 World Ice Hockey Championship in Belarus.
