Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coins bears inscription "УМАЦАВАННЕ І АБАРОНА ДЗЯРЖАВЫ" (FORTIFICATION AND DEFENDING THE STATE).
Obverse
At the top – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and a circle inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center — a representation of an excerpt from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania’s Statute Book of 1588, below – the inscription: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ"(TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗІН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one, the year of coinage; and on the right side of the silver coin — alloy standard .
Reverse
In the center — a relief image of Leu Sapieha and on the right side — the State Emblem of the Sapiehas - "The Fox"; and a circle inscriptions in two lines: "ЛЕЎ САПЕГА" (LEU SAPIEHA) and the years of his birth and death: 1557-1633.
