Discription
The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coins bears inscription "УМАЦАВАННЕ І АБАРОНА ДЗЯРЖАВЫ" (FORTIFICATION AND DEFENDING THE STATE).
Obverse
At the top – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and a circle inscription: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center – a scene of granting Mikalai Radziwill "Chorny" with the Princely title of the Holy Roman Empire on the background of the first page of the Brest Bible (the fragment of the painting from the Nesvizh National and Culural Museum-Reserve exposition);at the bottom – the denomination: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ"(TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АДЗІН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel one, the year of coinage; and on the right side of the silver coin — alloy standard .
Reverse
In the center - a relief image of Mikalai Radziwill "Chorny", on the right – a circle inscription: "МІКАЛАЙ РАДЗІВІЛ ЧОРНЫ" (MIKALAI RADZIWILL "CHORNY") and the years of his life: 1515 - 1565.
