Discription

The coin has the shape of a circle, on the front and back sides there is a rim along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated. 

Obverse

At the top – a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – a reconstruction of the Castle in Galshany; below – the year of coinage, on the silver coin – alloy standard; circle inscription – at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel one.

Reverse

In the right–hand side in the center – a relief image of Sophia of Galshany, in the left–hand side – the relieves of the State Emblems of Galshanys’ and Drutsks’ families – noble and powerful duke families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania; circle inscriptions: "СОФ'Я ГАЛЬШАНСКАЯ (ДРУЦКАЯ)" (SOPHIA OF GALSHANY (DRUTSK) and "600 ГОД" (THE 600–TH ANNIVERSARY).
